This year, the outside of the Barn has been painted and had routine maintenance.
Inside, Friends of Purley Barn have funded new window blinds and new urns and microwaves for both kitchens.
The Post Office have arranged a weekly service in the Small Hall at the Barn, run by Purley’s former Postmistress Charlotte Jenkins.
The service is every Monday from 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm.
The Barn is now fully open. For more information, contact the Parish Council, who manage the Barn and its bookings.
The maintenance highlighted during the 10 year survey was completed while the Barn was closed during the Covid pandemic.
